A type of decapod gill bearing a series of radiating unbranched filaments [Brusca and Brusca, 2002].
Gill of filamentous structure with hair-like projections from axis (e.g., crayfish). (Syn. trichobranchia) [Moore and McCormick, 1969].
Gill with filamentous structure of hairlike projections from axis [McLaughlin, 1980].

Type of gill whose axis bears series of undivided, filament-shaped branches. See: dendrobranch, phyllobranch [Stachowitsch, 1992].
