In cirripeds, articular edge of tergum adjoining scutum, or edge of any other plate abutting scutum [Moore and McCormick, 1969].

Barnacle plate feature: edge of tergum or edge of any other plate articulating with or directly adjoining scutum [Stachowitsch, 1992].
(Subclass Cirripedia):
Edge of tergum articulating with scutum or edge of any other adjacent to scutum [McLaughlin, 1980].
