postoral ganglion
(Order Stomatopoda):
Concentration of nerve tissue posterior to mouth; consists of fused ganglia of eight somites (mandibles to fifth thoracomeres). Joined to supraesophageal ganglion by pair of long circumoral connectives and continues posteriorly as ventral nerve cord. (Syn. subesophageal ganglion) [Stachowitsch, 1992].
